UpBeat Audio, Inc. purchases all rights to the Boostaroo® Portable Amplifier & Splitter.
Grand Haven, MI UpBeat Audio, Inc. announced today that it has purchased all rights to the patented Boostaroo Portable Audio Amplifier & Splitter from Bowman, Inc.
UpBeat Audio, Inc. is a privately held new product development company creating cutting edge audio accessories that expand the field of sound. The company focuses on creating accessories that enhance, amplify, and expand the sound field from a variety of products ranging from MP3 players, Pocket PC's, Video Gaming Equipment, TV's, Vehicle Entertainment Systems, Cell Phones, Scanners, portable DVD and CD players, and Computers.
The Boostaroo is the first leading product in its proposed line of portable amplifiers and splitters that will be released in the coming year. Linda Langs, CMO, states that the product was an important first purchase for the company as they wanted to own the patent rights that came with the Boostaroo to build and expand the line of portable audio amplifiers. Langs states that the company has a number of working prototypes developed and are in the final stages of a funding drive so that they can roll out the new products in 2004.
The Boostaroo has received four and five star ratings from magazines and on line sources such as MACDriectory, Sound Surge, Hand Held Magazine, Fortune, Cooltech.org, and is even recommended by Microsoft's Pocket PC Champs for increasing the volume in a Pocket PC.
